Hi Chris, thanks this is a great article. I’ve got a low sitting leather 3 seater which I’m using in our rumpus area and my rest of the home interiors are contemporary. What would be your recommendation for two arm chairs? I’ve been thinking to add two fabric ones like the Soho cotton canvas lounge chair above but would really appreciate your thoughts. Many thanks. I’m a Physical Therapist by trade however trying to find my way through different styles I like for my new home.
Thought about calling an old neighbor/designer over to help but I’m going to take a stab at it. Love all your info on “California Cool” but I like a few modern pieces as well so we’ll see what happens!

I really appreciate this article Chris. We need to replace our arm chairs at our beach house, they need to be comfortable and durable, and look good. This is a great starting point for me to pick ones I like the look of and then get my girlfriend to start sitting in and make sure she finds them comfy! Thanks!
