Hi Chris, had to share … My housecleaner finally came back after the lockdown the other day (thank goodness! My kids were especially pleased to be handing back over the chore) anyway, all my cushions in the lounge and media room had been placed on a DIAGONAL and I just said oh no Chris is going to come for me! My husband looked at me with concern.

I definitely love reading you blogs. They are very helpful and inspiring and help us keep up to date with great ideas.
I was wondering if you can suggest suppliers of larger throws that reach right across the bed – it’s really difficult to find them in stores?

Hi Ponti. I always use slang. It’s what makes me… me! I like to fight the idea that interior design has to be exclusive, or stuffy, or super expensive. It’s what’s attracted so many people to the blog and to my interior design business, so it won’t be changing anytime soon.

I like the article and your bed styling philosophy. One note though , you use too much slang and the word ‘cheap’ comes up a lot. It just seems off in an interior design blog .

It’s interesting to see you state not to use white sheets. I read years ago that hotels use white sheets because they are easier to bleach to keep them white. I have two sets of white that I use in Summer became it makes my bed psychologically cooler. During Winter I use warmer deeper colours like purple and blue.
