Thanks Maureen! A good trick is to put multiple inserts/quilts into the covers. Might end up lumpy, but with practice you’ll get the hang of it. Also a good quality quilt inside the cover. Nice and thick and fluffy. Also add layers like a throw and fold back the duvet.

Keep in mind though, the bed shots you see in photo shoots can be refluffed and redone over and over to get that perfect shot, so don’t stress over it too much as you’ll never get it to look like a photo shoot for long.

Thank you. What is the secret to making the comforter/duvet look so fluffy and that boho almost unmade look?

Hey Jaye. So odd that people go onto blogs and write awful things. Thankfully I don’t think I’ve ever had a negative comment here which is awesome (and lucky, by the sounds of it!).

Regarding the colours you like, both will work without being too feminine. You could simply add in some charcoal grey (in pillows and sheets) to make it more masculine and bring some balance. Hope this helps 🙂

Interesting post… For the last several weeks, I’ve read a preponderance of (millenial pink-haters) comments on blogs and websites. There are colors I do not care for, but none that would make me inclined to make such hostile comments. Just a thought, shared. So many pretty colour palettes on your post today, thanks for sharing. I told my husband I wanted to do a refresh on our master bedroom in the next month or two. I am completely drawn to the Silvery Blues and Pinks, also the Milky Grey and Pink. Before I show these to him, do you think these palettes are too feminine for a master bedroom? I find them to be delightfully serene. Great post!
